We have a resilient network for our own use, with three upstream providers and all of our internal equipment duplicated so that any server, router, hub or UPS can fail (or be taken out for maintenance) without any more than a transient effect on our connectivity.

You can take advantage of this by taking up one of our hosting deals. The smallest configuration we offer is two dedicated servers, configured so that they will normally load-share, but, should one fail, the other will take over its portion of the traffic.

Our servers come configured with the latest release of FreeBSD, Apache, MySQL, PHP and Perl - you have full root access, so are able to install extra software or update the servers as required. We have very few restrictions on the use to which these servers may be put, but will not tolerate the usual misdemeanours, including spam, open mail relays and illegal pornography.

Packages start at £295.00 per month, exclusive of VAT, for two dual P3-1000/1G RAM/60G HDD FreeBSD servers, configured as above in a fault-tolerant pair.
